So i take it this will run on st8 after Laurie shooting Micheal ?
I was thinking if we get a new Laurie why not go for an older girl and take the story a few years later.
scout was good and all but i just didn't feel her as Laurie. I'm to used to seeing Jamie lee in the role.
it was made for her!!!!
Please Please include her in this new series or if they ever do another follow up Halloween please put jamie back in the path of Micheal she could easily have survived resurrection you never know.
please conclude that series and give her a decent send off and lets see what happened to her son.

you guys, i really don't think this is meant to be taken literally (from the movie). it's telling US (the moviegoer) that Laurie has something going on (meaning Michael isn't done with her yet) on HALLOWEEN. to the people who think that Rob would have Laurie going to a party after what just happened to her.....i mean, really. come on! you can't be that stupid.

One thing i take from this is that it's not like the original part2 in that it takes place the same night or the next day. It seems to take place in the next year because why would she almost be killed then go to a halloween party the same night. So it seems to take place the next year.

Well, you can certainly feel the love in here! Come on people, it's a hint, like someone already said, it's probably a year (or more, we don't know yet), after the first film. Well, Zombie's first Halloween anyway. Although, I'm willing to bet with the whole "Night of Horror!" might be saying it's based at a party... I am that smart. Zombie does this every damn time a new movie of his comes out, take it for what it is: a teaser and nothing else.

I'm hoping for a nice twist.
Remember it was in the original "Halloween 2" that they tried to convict us that Michael was Laurie's brother. . . maybe in this Rob Zombie "H2" they will explain that Michael is not really Laurie's brother after all.
You know one of the things I liked about the original movie was that he seemed to be stalking Laurie for no real reason, almost as if anyone could have been his traget. I thought that made it a lot more frightening.
She had just made the mistake of going up to the Myers family home to drop off the key for her father, who was a real estate agent trying to sell the house.
I thought the randomness fit the story better.

I hope Scout doesn't come back. She wasn't convincing imo, so the poster who had the idea about bringing in an older actress would work.

WOW. Everyone is really extrapolating a lot from this non/mis-information...
I am excited that there will be a sequel, although Carpenter's masterpiece is infinitely better than the smokin pile of poop RZ's was...I was still there opening weekend contributing to the ! $26mil. opening! Holy crap! Top that! Michael's got some legs on him, and I will be there for H2! I just hope it is radically different than any H sequel before it.

We'd all have to be fools to sit here and bash Zombie and the plot of H2 by simply looking at a picture of an invitation that he posts on the net.... If you're a true Halloween fan then you at least owe it to yourself to give the movie a chance! I don't care what ANYONE says, Zombies re-imagining of the original was excellent! Could YOU have done any better? The man took a huge chance and in my opinion, it paid off. Of course there's always going to be the pack of haters behind everything! Those who's sole purpose is to sit around and b_itch on the internet about things they really no NOTHING about! You know what... I thought JC's version was better too, but that doesn't mean I'm going to talk trash about it! The sad thing is that half these people who are sitting around complaining are also the very same people who will be sleeping on the sidewalk the night before H2 comes out just to make sure they get their tickets! Noone is going to force you to go see the picture, people! Skip it if you want to, but please leave the Halloween blogging to the people who really aren't pretending to give a s-hit about the series!
