Universal demonstrated quick decision-making once Rogue offloaded distribution duties to the studio for Neil Marshall's genre hybrid Doomsday. They locked a release date (March 14th), they're gearing up a heavy online campaign and they've snagged a rating from the MPAA - "R." For what? Listen up: Strong bloody violence, language and some sexual content/nudity. Gawd, do we love our strong bloody violence. Nudity is the icing on top.
Rhona Mitra stars in Marshall's feature effort (behind Dog Soldiers and The Descent) as a skilled gal sent to retrieve a cure for a virus that has obliterated a fraction of the UK. We caught up to Marshall to discuss the film at Comic-Con last year, read up on that story here.
