Juan Antonio Bayona's The Orphanage is on the remake slab at New Line Cinema. Guillermo del Toro, who produced the original film, will pull similar duties on the American version.

Bayona's film tells the "tale of a woman's return to the orphanage where she grew up with the intention of opening a home for handicapped children." Supernatural creepiness ensues.
