Horror fans eager to explore Catacombs, the horror film starring Shannyn Sossamon and Alecia Moore (aka Pink), will be doing so not on DVD or in a theater...but on the web.
Clearing up speculation we've heard that the long-delayed release of the film would come to an end with an online premiere - something we queried FEARnet exec producer Jim Burns about - a recent ad for the VOD web service within the pages of the most recent Rue Morgue Magazine states, "This fall, FEARnet On Demand will have the cable premieres of ... original programming, including Catacombs and 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails."
When Catacombs airs is uncertain, furthermore, what this means for a DVD release is unknown. FEARnet is a free service, so wouldn't this put a dent in any potential DVD revenue?
