Rob Zombie's got the number one film in America. What's that mean? Corner the man, demand what's next and hold him to everything he says a year or so down the road when he begins another project...
There are definitely no "Halloween" sequels in his future, he tells Entertainment Weekly. No really big news there. He's been saying that since he began principal photography on Halloween.
"I'm not going to do any more Halloween movies, or any more remakes of any kind. I signed up for two more pictures [see this story for more], but not two more Halloween pictures," Zombie tells EW. "They're going to be original stuff and I don't necessarily know that they're going to be related to the horror genre either."
Personally, I'd love to see him do a flick set on the old school carnival circuit, bring to life some of the images he crooned about on his "Educated Horses" album. Call it "Sawdust in Blood," perhaps?
