What began as a small acting gig in Alexandre Aja's High Tension turned into a fruitful creative working relationship for Franck Khalfoun. The director of Summit Entertainment's P2, coming November 9th, co-wrote his feature directorial debut with Aja and Grgory Levasseur.
Khalfoun exclusively informs Shock he has a number of projects cooking, including another Aja collaboration he's currently writing. "I'm actually adapting a novel for Alexandre Aja," he says, withholding the title of the book. "I'll leave it to him to reveal its identity. I don't know what avenue he wants to take it, but it's more of a comedy. Something completely out of what we're used to doing."
He adds that is not Aja's previously announced adaptation of the Charles Burns graphic novel "Black Hole."
A full interview with Khalfoun is coming soon...sit tight!
