Hard to believe it's been nearly a full year since we've done an update on the French horror film Mutants. Here we are, however, with a look at the teaser trailer discovered online today. You can watch it here. David Morlet's feature debut is looking good so far - love the wintry setting and the hint of the slow decomposition one of the leads suffers through. Set in the wake of a deadly outbreak, in which people are turned into bloodthirsty maniacs (it's another spin on the zombie film), Hélène de Fougerolles and Francis Renaud play survivors (Sonia and Marco, respectively) who hole up in a isolated location, but not before Marco becomes infected...

Mutants is expected to hit theaters overseas in 2009.
