I've never read the books, and I don't mean to diss the movie or anything but it just reminds me so much of The Covenant.

I've read the books and this little tidbit has only whetted my appetite for more. Loved it. Looking forward to the movie.

awesome! I'm a fan of the books, and it looks like they got that scene exactly right. Everything was perfect.

Vampires in the daylight has sucktastic written all over it... as long as it isn't the covenant, I will still watch it.

okay. so i love these books. i'm a huge fan...HUGE! but i have a problem.
i was really excited that a scene from the movie was coming out. i was on the edge of my seat, but after watching it i was not impressed. That scene was almost nothing like the book.
first of all, bella never brought pepper spray with her, none the less sprayed it at james.
Secondly bella was supposed to get SERIOUSLY hurt almost to the point of death when shes rescued.
Thirdly jasper and emmet are the ones to finish off james while edward is at bellas side at her aid.
i shouldnt be picky, i know this but it bothers me. i also know that when a movie is based off a book, its NEVER as good as the movie. But they could at least try keeping it as close as possible.
p.s robert pattinson makes a FANSTASTIC EDWARD!! its all in his eyes!!
