Rumor Control: Portman on Pride and Prejudice?

Last week, we gave you latest on the buzz surrounded Seth Grahame-Smith's "Pride and Prejudice with Zombies," a drastic reworking of the Jane Austen novel. (Catch up on the full details here.)
Tonight, Production Weekly reports Natalie Portman (V for Vendetta) is attached to the project, however, a quick phone call to a source close to the project yielded this response. "Premature. No offers or handshakes of any kind yet - other people circling."
As we stated in our previous report people are very much chomping at the bit to get a hold of Grahame-Smith's twisted take, so stay tuned. Some official word will come down soon!
