lol hes not wearing the mask in the pic, thats his real face with the make- up of the gun shot applied to the top of his head. so when the mask is on it will look like hes been shot, cuz if u remember the sculpt of the mask theres a chunk in that same spot blown off. so thats whats going on. i think in the pic they are not filming hes just walking around on set...wwwooooo!!!

A more realistic Myers? The 1978 original was more realistic than this circus act.
Walking around in broad daylight and with a butcher knife? There are just so many things wrong with the remake its just amazing how they hired the same guy to do another. It's beyond belief.
Has to be name recognition, has to be. And that is truly sad.

so how is he not dead after a gun shot to the head?
I suppose you are all going to fall for the "you cant die from a direct hit to the head from a magnum" response.
Or " it hit him in the ear".

FFs, Halloween's fall from a classic is becoming a classic joke.

1979, not 78 - but
Myers in the original was just a loon that went back home to do god knows what.
What he did and HOW he went about it was the most interesting and horryfying thing.
The guy was just plain weird - as JC put it - he was a typical nut case and on his release wanted to just relive his previous crime.
Im no expert on the series, only seen the first few, but the way Myers was in the original was so damn odd and eerie it actually worked. Not because he picked up a fork and stabbed some nurse we dont even know in the neck or got mad cos he wasnt allowed to go trick or treating.
Zombie is like a kid that has never written a script and just puts down all these ideas into a muddle only to find they dont really serve the purpose of making anything go anywhere.
RZH is just a childs attempt at making a Halloween remake and the fact that some fans can actually watch that ****fest and say it is good is just beyond me.
The original series, barring part 8 , were superior.
But then Im God and I make the rules.

Well as far as I know, long hair is not allowed in asylums as inmates can put weopons in the hair.
I dont even see the reason apart from some Rob Zombie long hair fetish.
But it is becoming too much of a joke.

Sal tries to get Grace in the mood, but she thinks it's creepy to make love while Michael is in the other bed next to them. Sal comes up with the perfect solution. He pulls the curtain in front of their bed to block out Michael. Satisfied, Grace tells him to wait right there while she returns a chart to the front desk. She says she'll be back in a jiffy and leaves with a bounce in her step.

Sal removes his jumpsuit and lies back in bed, his hands cradling his head against the pillow. As he waits, he whistles "Amazing Grace."

In the background and behind the white curtain, we see Michael's shadow. He miraculously awakens from the coma (due to the sight of the mask), slides the mask over his head, and slowly rises.

Michael pulls open the curtain and chokes Sal's neck while he's in the middle of whistling. "Amazing Grace" turns into a wheezing sound as he is close to being asphyxiated. Michael squeezes till Sal finally dies.

Michael has a flashback of when he was a child in the mental institution. A priest is performing an exorcism on a young and frightened Michael, who wails like a banshee.

Cut to Michael. He is walking down a street littered with shops that have since closed for the day. A car full of teenage bombers whizzes by and eggs him. Michael stops and flings the yolk off his chest and mask.

A gang of vigilante lesbian biker chicks are standing outside a bar. Their leader speaks softly and carries a BIG knife! They spot Michael walking down an alleyway across the street. Thinking he's a man dressed as Michael Myers, their stomachs turn. What kind of lowlife dresses up as a mass-murderer on Halloween? They follow him into the alley and jump him. The leader sticks her knife in him. Michael pulls it out and uses it to kill her and the entire gang.

I really do beleive thats something Rob Zombie will come up with and will appear on screen. Oh dear.

This is just a quick reference to the recent pics of Tyler Mane as Michael Myers without the Michael Myers mask.In the original Halloween(1978) 2 people played Michael Myers the main actor who played him was Nick Castle who played "The Shape" and Tony Moran who was Michael Myers for the few seconds where the mask was taken off his face.I only say this because weather or not Tyler Mane was in character or just walking around the set with half his costume on and half off.Yes Tyler Mane is playing Michael Myers but if his mask should come on at any point in the movie it could be someone else once that mask in removed from his head.Don't forget anyone can be under that mask it's not like we will be able to see who it is.But I really doubt that any part of his beard would be showing in the movie one his mask is back on.Just wanted to share that.

Have you ever actually sat through a whole Halloween movie, or do you just piss yourself halfway through and go cry to your mom? Michael Myers has been shot countless times, blown up, burned, dropped down a well, electrocuted, injected with poison, hit by cars, stabbed, bludgeoned, etc. Why would one gunshot to the face kill this incarnation of Michael Myers? You are the joke jackass. I am not a fan of remakes to say the least, but at least Zombie takes Michael Myers in a different direction than every other hack director that squeezed some cash out of every crappy Halloween sequel they made... how about that telepathic link with his neice... bold storytelling. 1. Mane was returning from a "potty break". The beard fit nicely into the mask for filming.

2. Yes, that IS Brea Grant.

3. I didn't get a picture of it, but Scout only comes up to Tyler Mane's stomach. She's SO tiny it was hilarious seeing her talking to him.

4. Most movies film a lot of night scenes during the day, so I doubt the hanging scene will be actually shown as daytime.

I for one realy enjoyed the remake. The only 2 Halloween movies I own are the original and the remake. Of the original series ( after the original) only number 4 could pass as good, H2O was okay, but I laughed the entire way through it. Even the second was wasn't that good. Number 5 was so horrible that it included a laugh track and two bumbling cops...then they came up with the satanic cult idea in number 6 to explain why Micheal was evil. I'm looking forward to this movie.
