Advance copies of the two-disc Friday the 13th documentary His Name Was Jason are being sent out to the press and we received ours today. Because many of you are just as eager as I am to dig into this doc, I thought I'd snap a few shots of the menu screens to give you a peek at what's to come.

Anchor Bay releases His Name Was Jason on February 3rd. Hang tight, a review is coming in the near future.

This looks really good but from the looks of it it's only coming out on DVD and not Blu-ray (which i own a Blu-ray player).

Since Friday the 13th Unrated: Deluxe Edition comes out on Blu-ray on the same day as this does it would have been a great combo pack.

I'll bet that when the review finally comes out, it will be revealed that this is awesome.

Nice. Looking forward to it. My girlfriend and I watched the first F13 just the other night after several years and fell in love with the franchise all over again. Can't wait for the new movie!

How much info does this have on the new one? I feel they should have waited for the new one to come out before releasing this.

Looking good, thanks for the tease. February will be a killer time for Voorhees-fans. The date, four new delights to enjoy, and there's even another Friday the 13th in March! I just wish there was a better trailer out there, the promo was a little lackluster.

Looks like Steve Miner didn't want to be interviewed as he is the only Friday director not listed on the menu.

i wonder what they did with the theme song like they did on halloween 2007

No Ronny Yu on there either, id like to have seen his thoughts seein as F vs J was more of an F13 movie for me. if Ken Kirzinger is interviewed, why not Ronny?
