AFM '08: First Look at the Cast from Sorority Row
Source: Summit Entertainment,All AFM Headlines Here
November 5, 2008
Last year, Summit Entertainment came to the American Film Market with a lil' film you may have heard of: Twilight. This year, that adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel is figured prominently in their exhibit room along with the upcoming remake Sorority Row. Below you'll find the first publicity still with some of the cast members which include Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Jamie Chung, Rumer Willis and Audrina Patridge. Summit plans to release Sorority Row, directed by Stewart Hendler, on October 2, 2009. Scroll down for a full synopsis.

Sexy college juniors Cassidy, Jessica, Claire, Ellie and Megan are sorority sisters sworn to trust, secrecy and solidarity, no matter what. But their loyalty is tested when a prank at a raucous house party goes terribly wrong and Megan ends up brutally murdered. Rather than confess to the crime and risk destroying their bright futures, the girls agree to hid the bloody corpse and keep their secret forever.
Fast forward one year to graduation. As they prepare to say good-bye to the house and each other, the girls plan one last alcohol-fueled bash on Sorority Row, confident their dark secret remains buried. But does it? As the party rages in the front yard, the bedrooms and the hot tube, the girls receive cell phone videos taken the night of Megan's murder from an anonymous sender who threatens to forward the videos to the police. Then, one by one, the sisters and their unsuspecting boyfriends are stalked by an unseen killer.
Has megan returned from the dead to exact her revenge? Or was their secret discovered by someone else - someone now determined to make them pay?
We'd go much further with the synopsis, but it gets a tad spoiler-y.

That's a horrible photo. Girls look hot. But they look like their on the moon...

So, they're not using the plot of the original movie, but are basically grabbing a lot of plot points from the APRIL FOOL'S DAY remake? Which ALSO didn't use the original plot??

@ Dr. Chalis
The original was about a prank gone wrong, granted it was on the house mother and not another sister, but still it vaguely resembles the plot of the old movie.
For the record I do think this one will probably suck.

Sounds a lot like the premise of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Dr. Chalis called it. Same plot as the "April Fool's Day" remake which was awful. Lameer than lame.
Also, any horror movie involving someone from "The Hills" gets an immediate "No Thanks" in my book

I can't wait to go see this movie with my friends, it looks fun, scary, and thrilling.
